À la rencontre des sources (A Tale of Sources)
À la rencontre des sources (A Tale of Sources) is a large-scale public artwork by Fiona Annis for the Riopelle pavilion at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec. Composed of four sculptural groupings, the artwork is conceived as a procession of creative encounters and an ode to untamed nature. The combination of Nordic elements – including migratory birds, birch bark, a granite stones – gives rise to a symbolic world whose vital material is organic.
